Overview

Breaker’s business strategy blends strategic acquisitions balanced with a focused plan to explore, develop and exploit oil and natural gas reserves throughout Western Canada. Management has the technical experience to pursue exploration and acquisition opportunities in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Through acquisitions and a series of farm-in arrangements, Breaker currently has access to approximately 300,000 net acres in Western Canada.

  • Operatorship and high working interests where possible in order to control the timing and costs of projects;
  • Internal generation of drilling prospects, supplemented by acquisitions with exploration, exploitation and development upside.

Core Area Attributes

  • Proximity to processing and transportation infrastructure in order that successful wells can quickly be placed on production;
  • Moderate drilling depths between 1,500-8,000 feet in the Cretaceous to Devonian age formations;
  • Moderate drilling and operating costs; and
  • Areas which are under-explored and under-developed.
