Vice President, Exploration

Prior to joining Breaker, Mr. Polley was employed as Group Lead, North Central Exploration at EnCana Corporation (formerly AEC). His accomplishments with EnCana included drilling discovery wells in Saskatchewan's Wymark and Cadillac gas fields. Both were new field wild cat discoveries. Wymark is a significant Saskatchewan gas discovery (55-70 billion cubic feet (bcf) recoverable), which has already produced 27 bcf, while Cadillac is expected to recover 30-60+ bcf. Six years after the discoveries, daily production exceeds 30 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd), and over three hundred wells have been drilled on the trend.

Mr. Polley has drilled wildcat wells from shallow Manitoba to the deep Devonian in British Columbia where he most recently led a team at EnCana with a two-year exploration budget of $50 million. One of the projects included defining and capturing a 50-100 bcf Triassic prospect, which has been successfully drilled in part, and is undergoing extensive development drilling. Mr. Polley has participated in sizable acquisitions and was instrumental in a $30 million disposition of undeveloped land.

Mr. Polley graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering.
